Growing conditions:
It occurs naturally in wet meadows, along streambanks and roads. It is a very adaptable plant that can grow in any soil and moisture conditions, just not in full shade. In ideal conditions, which means moist and sunny sites, Canada anemone will spread very quickly and form dense colonies which can serve as beutiful groundcover and soft landing.
